Acumen Financial Planning is pleased to announce their partnership with Aberdeenshire secondary school, Kemnay Academy.

Acumen Financial Planning, Director Keith Mackie commented:

“We are delighted to be working closely with Kemnay Academy on this initiative. Bringing young bright individuals into the financial planning sector is very important to us as an employer. We are always looking towards the future of our business and the financial planning profession as a whole. We are confident and excited that the partnership with Kemnay will benefit any young person seeking employment in financial planning as their chosen career path”.

Mary Holland, director of DYW North East, said: “DYW helps build meaningful partnerships between employers and education to benefit young people. Our mission is to be the vital link for businesses and schools to engage, inspire and develop the young workforce of the North-east.

“Scotland’s financial services sector is a key economic driver making an annual contribution of £8.9 billion to our nation’s economy. It is vital to establish links to build a talent pipeline coming through schools, colleges and university for this sector.

The establishment of strategic partnerships like the one between Acumen Financial Planning and Kemnay Academy is a fantastic way to highlight the range of career opportunities the financial sector offers and to build the employability and life skills of the pupils at the Academy.”
