What do you like most about working at Acumen Financial Planning?

“Working in an industry that is constantly evolving. In addition, our clients have such a variety of personal circumstances means there is always so much to keep learning. As a result, it is almost impossible to become bored.”

What has been your proudest career achievement to date?

“It’s cliché and still a work in progress but probably passing my exams to bring me closer to the diploma. There is no better feeling than walking out of the exam centre with a pass.”

Tell us one thing that people would be surprised to find out about you.

“Whilst applying for university, I originally wanted to study dermatology. But then I realised it would take a minimum of 7 years more studying! 18-year-old me couldn’t stomach the thought of that.”

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“Treat others the way you want to be treated. Everyone deserves to be respected; personally, everyone’s path is different and professionally, every individual’s role within a company is vital to making that company work.”
