Joining the Glasgow team in May 2024, David brings 18 years of experience working within financial services.

In his role, David provides financial planning support, which involves preparing reviews, processing any information or tasks for clients and providing overall support for financial planner, Jackie Coyne.

What do you like most about working at Acumen Financial Planning?

“My team in Glasgow who have been a great help since I moved here. The location of Glasgow office is also ideal.”

What has been your proudest career achievement to date?

“Obtaining my Diploma Regulated Financial planning in 2023. Hard work but worth it. Next up is the path to Chartered status….”  

Tell us one thing that people might not know about you.

“I play bass guitar. I’m also in a function band which I love and this keeps me busy in my spare time. I enjoy playing 5s, the occasional run and spending time with friends and family.”

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“Always try and not take your work home with you! Not always easy but I do try and achieve a healthy work/life balance.”
